PAD 2024

BOOROOM GALLERY took part in PAD (Parisian Art+Design), an exhibition that has been bringing together international galleries of collectible design and decorative arts since 1998.

The selection of objects for the gallery's stand was the result of many years of work. The works of Lena Solovyeva, Tomonari Hashimoto, Christophe Delcourt, Jose Zanine Caldas, Ariana Ahmad, Rui Matos, Ksenia Breivo, Agostino Bonalumi and Enrico Castellani are juxtaposed in a calibrated sequence. The scenography of the booth reflects the inextricable and consistent relationship between design and art of the 20th and 21st centuries.

"Sculpturality, form, non-trivial technique are for me the defining features of design and art objects. This applies equally to historical masterpieces and things created by contemporaries. For me, this juxtaposition of iconic objects and current experiments gives birth to a new quality of interior design. The exhibition intertwines my personal search for the ideal and the present, embodied in emptiness and purity," says gallery owner and curator Irina Budtseva-Vinitskaya.
