COSMOSCOW 2020

From 11 to 13 September, the 8th Cosmoscow Contemporary Art Fair was back at Gostiny Dvor. This year Booroom focused on French artisans: the gallery presented works of the French design star Christophe Delcourt, magic mirrors from Christophe Gagnon whose exhibition was held at the gallery in early 2019, pictures by the famous Japanese photographer Masao Yamamoto and pieces made by Portuguese masters.

Meditative images, "visual haiku" by Masao Yamamoto blur the boundaries between different types of art, painting, photography and poetry. In the works of Christophe Delcour, the outer simplicity hides the technical complexity of the creation process with the combination of different materials in one piece. All items are present in a limited edition. The mirrors signed by the French designer Christophe Gagnon are made using a unique technique that no one has yet been able to repeat. Each of them reflects his vision of the world, space and the transformation that happens to reality at the moment of its contact with art.
