BOOROOM GALLERY x KOLYA DYKHNE “NOWUL”

Timeless style, emotionality and craftsmanship are the key concepts for Booroom that it is happy to share with friends and clients. As a part of a special project, young artist Kolya Dykhne presented a decorative “Nowul” dish in brass with a cork base custom-made for the gallery. Each item is unique: one hundred copies are minted and covered with patina by hand.

Kolya Dykhne did not receive a professional art education, but he independently succeeded in studying and mastering complex techniques, such as stone carving and manual metalworking. In his objects, the artist tries to emphasize the natural forms, emphasizing flaws and errors, focusing on the continuous connection between the idea and the result of creation, and the importance of the creation process itself.
